Să îmbrăcăm un copil de Paști!
“Let us dress a child for Easter!”: new clothes and shoes at Easter for children from families in need. A minibus full of children goes shopping, and each child chooses their own clothes.
The story of the campaign
“The holy feast of the Resurrection is a time of love, forgiveness and renewal. Tradition asks parents to dress their children in new clothes. You, dear friends of our church, I invite to dress a poor child each for Easter!” Father Ion wrote in 2019.
The children go shopping with Father Ion and with women from the parish; donations go to the Fiți Buni Association’s account.

2023
For Saturday 8 April, Father Ion announced a minibus full of children going shopping.
2022
On 17 April, children from Olt, Gorj and Teleorman chose new clothes for the Resurrection service, and on the same day went to a restaurant for the first time. The aim rose from 20 to 30 children as the donations came in.

2021
A minibus with 20 children went to the Electroputere Mall in Craiova; the children chose new clothes and shoes, and each was given a ball.

2020“Îmbracă un copil de Sărbători” (Dress a child for the holidays)
The campaign carried on during the pandemic, for children from Caracal and the neighbouring communes.
ResultAbout 40 children received new clothes and sports shoes.
